Subject:      Clattering lifters--what to do next?

When I replaced my heads recently, I put in new lifters and took the advice
of some who said "put them in dry, they'll pump up.:"
For the most part they have pumped up, but at least one is soft and
clattering.

I've run the car for about 10 minutes (it runs pretty well) and idled it
about the same, trying to verify that I've got a good solid coolant fill
before going further. and, of course, I'd like the clattering to stop.

Should I run it further or try again at adjusting?
