This bulb (wheat-grain style) is permanently placed in a plastic "twist" base. They are located at the top of the instrument cluster directly in the center of the three spots that you mention. They twist in a half-turn to remove from the cluster. Take care in doing this as the tiny metal contacts are what connects to the instrument foil that supplies the power and ground circuit(s) for the bulbs to actually work. Good, strong fingers can usually do it, but it's a bit easier to *carefully* do this with pliers.
