I think, the chemical engineer, who designed the mix for the plastic, has made it for early disintegration, as planned obsolescense. Certain plastics are designed to fall apart and crumble after a certain time lapsed. They did not think, that these cars will be held onto forever. So, now we are in need of new aftermarket parts with the same color. The black is not much better, I bet. Its time is coming the same way, I think. And sun damage is speeding up the process.

Yesterday I had to repair an istrument cluster housing, where the threaded corners were broken. Took me five hours to make it new again. Zoltan
