A quick look at P 37.2 in Bentley, and I see a "neutral/Park back up light contact bridge" on the "Selector Lever".

It looks to me like this part contacts the "Neutral/Park back-up light contact plate" which is mounted above the "selector support".

It looks to me like the contact bridge contacts the contact plate. Not sure where the adjustment can be made.

Are both parts secure? Maybe the contact plate can be moved forward a hair?

Archives likely has the solution.

Neil.

If it stays in position after I put it in park, it does not. So, I should adjust the switch, I assume. But I can't find it in the book. where is it on the car then? Anyone? > Zoltan >
