Indeed, I was there at GoWesty on Easter Sunday (camping at nearby Montana
de Oro state park). My wife and I walked the whole parking lot looking at
all their various offerings, and there isn't a $50K one among 'em . There
was a nice syncro 16 westy that'd be an easy $30K-er with a good repaint,
but it was on the street so I surmise it was an employee's. They were just
reg'lar old westy vanagons on the lot for the most part... dusty, scratched,
hula girls stuck on the dash... Like you say, when you pick one out they
start off with "OK, do you want the $4K, $5K, or the $6K engine? 15" or 16"
wheel package? Paint?" etc.
