Thanks everyone who helped! Is the Old Volks home located in Rocky Mount NC? There is one located there that is a shop that fixes VWs. I was wondering if it was one in the same. Also Ken how much are these bearings and the voltage regulator from your company? Thanks I appreciate all the help that you guys have given me with everything.

PS. When lowering the fuel tank, how much extra line is available coming from those expansion tanks? I would hateto break them if they aren't already.

Thanks Leron

I can get these for you if you can't find them locally. Also you should replace the voltage regulator since the contacts in this will be worn at a strange angle when you put the new bearings in. I have these as well.

I hope this helps, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com

My belt broke Sunday as I was leaving for church and when I replaced it on Monday the bearings are keeping all grades of noise intermittantly. Help I hope to be able to salvage the alternator without having to replace the whole thing. There is a shop arond here that sells all kinds of bearings and I hope to be able to just remove it and put more right in with no down time.
