<As I posted yesterday, there are plenty of online sources. I've seen them as low as $11 shipped to your door. Not everybody has a piece of flat iron lying about about. A suitable piece from bought from a hardware store will cost a bunch more than $11>
Yeah, true, but there's always getting up on Saturday morning and thinking "Today I'm gonna do..." and then finding you don't have the right tool. Then you can't find it locally, so then you improvise. In my case I had the section of flat iron laying around, cut it shorter with my angle grinder, drilled two holes and I had my tool. Better than ordering and waiting a week, which by then 10 other things have come up and my project ends up sitting until another free Saturday rolls around-which isn't too often! Jeff |
