Anna, You need to make sure you have the correct oil - I run Mobil One 15w-50wt synthetic. Whatever you run, it should have that 50 attached at the end. Like 20w50 or 15w50. You also need to be sure you have a Mahle or Mann filter. There are fewer problems with those than others. Get the Mann/Mahle filters from list vendors - though you MIGHT be able to find them locally. Check the wire, the connector and the oil pressure switch that is to the loer left of the large crankshft pully on the end of the crankshaft. A loose connection there can make the light blink erratically Drive minimally until you get this resolved. Good luck.
