Well, it is not uncommon at all to lose SOME coolant without seeing leaks...but going from the max to min line sounds like quite a bit, especially for a single day.

Lots of questions to clear up first though:

1. Did you recently flush the system and you're in the first few days of air bleeding out? 2. How much do you drive in a day? 3. Any funny smells - like maple syrup? 4. Any cooling problems - spiking temp needle, etc.?
