You know, these "drinking in a vehicle" discussions have really gotten off track from the original radio discussion, but it has made me think about some wiring choices I've seen people post. Seems that some folks have wired their radios to turn off when you take the key out?? - like a normal car.
I know in many states that if your key is in the ignition, even if the vehicle is not on...and you're drinking, then you can be charged with a DUI.
So if you are one of these people who have re-wired their radios to rely on the key, could they potentially receive a DUI for having a beer at a campground simply because they wanted to listen to the radio? Maybe someone has already brought this up?
