Subject: Turning around the middle bench in a Westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi all,

I've always been frustrated that there is so little legroom for the rear bench when the middle bench is in place so I'd like to pivot it 180 degrees and have it face backwards. The only problem is that it only fits in the exact spot that VW has placed it. The other portions of the floor the ribs are either not spaced properly or have raised portions that interfere with the installation of the rails. Has anyone done this already? Where did you end up putting it and how did you overcome the ribs issue?

Please let me know... Christopher
