Thanks Dennis.

I had to wonder, after posting, if in fact something was hinky with the old air cooled fuel pump wiring. I got in the habit of letting the pump run a few seconds to prime things, then crank it. Hearing it spin like that seemed normal to me.

Kind of a blessing, in a way, doing this conversion. I'm sorting out a problem that could have provided some negative results under the wrong conditions.

Anyhow, I'll find out soon enough if my new wiring for this Jetta engine install, is correct.

I hope to fire it up tomorrow!
