Subject: Re: Best Tint?

I've tried the cord around the window frame tick, on the windshields anyway. but never had the best of luck with it. I bought 4 putty knives at the hardware store and then ground a large radius on both corners off all of them. They are my glass tools. I also polished them smooth. I use a lot of lubricant and it all works quite well. ( And, I find the freshly cleaned and lubed seals are nice & tight & no water gets through. ) I wouldn't use anything that will react with the tint film though. And, It's still a little tough to clean the film/glass when you are all through, on a westy or mv, no matter what. ( such a tight reach ) A good job for one of the kids, with their smaller arms ?? :o) ( my kids are grown, and gone off on their own ... And, I do Miss the Slave Labor !!! :o) ( hea hea hea !!! ) best, john...
