I'll never forget the response I got from a co-worker when I told her I owned a Westfalia. Basically she felt, strongly, and somewhat negatively, that Westfalia owners were strange. (and this coming from someone other's might consider strange!)

The way I see it, if people think your Vanagon/Westy/Syncro etc. is cool, cute, neat, or ? positive comment, then they're worth "the time".

Otherwise, meh?
