It takes allot of miles of driving to make up for difference in cost between the non-hybrid model and the hybrid one though the more gas costs the sooner you will realize your savings. Other problems are the hybrid depreciates really fast because when that car is out of warranty next owner will have to pay for the replacement batteries, the $7,000 variable transmission if it breaks, etc.
