<OK, J Stewart got me motivated to try to install my Extend-A-Stay valve. I just unscrewed the regulator. The issue is my propane lines already look as if they are stretched to their limit with what may be a longer than original regulator. I'm really worried about pushing the lines over another 2 inches, it looks like they'll kink up. Any suggestions?>
Bryan, To do it correctly, you really need a tubing bender or you will kink the line. Even with one, there is not a lot of room to work with. I put mine it last weekend because I wanted to give it a try this weekend at Everybus, which I will. Looking back on it now, I should have waited because after Everybus I plan to pull the sink/stove cabinet to check out what is hopefully a minor rust issue under the outlets. IMHO, the Extend-A-Stay kit really wasn't worth the cost/effort for the benefit gained. Just my .02! Jeff |
