It would mean as fitted originally, ( like on late Carats ) And what jumps into my mind is that the spare tire carrier that will accept that size tire, is a smidge different than the earlier carriers that take the narrower 185 R14 ( or 197/75 R 14 LT ) .- so a possible minor variation in the radiator hoses.
