Subject: starter problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

This weekend my starter stayed engaged for a spilt second after the engine started. This happened a couple times. Then this morning the starter did not engage the flywheel at all so I turned off the key and tried again and it fired right up. Is there a way to take apart the solenoid and lube it, or is this the beginning of the end of the starter? I just had it out when I changed the clutch and as far as I can tell, it may be the one they installed in 1986.

Please email me directly as I am having some list delivery problems lately.

Thanks, Clint
