Best product I have found is a spray called Rid-ox. You spray it on the contacts and put the plugs back together. It usually works right away but sometimes it works after 15 mins but it always works. I wish I had a dollar for every time it has saved me. Wurth has a similar product too but I do not know where to get it.

Steve

Google Rid-ox to find a supplier near you. I always have to buy it on line but its worth the trouble.

Hi all.

Anyone know of a spray or paste that would help clean, and keep clean, pins and sockets on electrical connectors?

Maybe a spray is best as leaving a "paste" of some kind might smoosh around and make contact where it shouldn't.......

I'm cleaning as best I can, but its delicate.

Looks like it's designed to take a little splash of water once in a while, but since it supplies power to distributor low voltage side, FI's etc. needs to be "right", and stay "right"

I may place it in a place other than stock location and put a box around it.

Thanks!

Neil.
