Hi Surging was talked about a few years ago. I have it on my 84 with only 24k miles once warm and coming off of the freeway. There was somthing about the black tower that if you use a PCV Valve on it and plug the intake boot where it plugs into the side of the intake that it will correct it. My 84 doesnt get many miles and developed a brake booster issue so I will be fixing that when I get around to fixing the Brakes first. But this is suppose to fix it since it is putting to much back pressure into the intake. Ive not tried it so I can not attest to it but I will be trying it since EVERYthing on this motor works and it still surges. Well everything but the brake booster. Thanks C-ya and please report what you find if you try the PCV valve C-ya Jonce
