Subject: speaker replacement, quiet muffler recommendations
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

All, I would like to keep my 84 Westfalia looking as stock as possible and want to upgrade the OEM speakers. Crutchfield says I can use the original grilles and replace the speakers, but I tried to get the old speakers out and gave up for fear of breaking the grilles. Anyone ever do this?

Also looking for quietest muffler ever recommendations. My replacement muffler has 25k miles on it and is getting a little loud.

Thanks Steven
