Not certain about your model year, but on mine, I had to have a key made. I removed the unit and took it to a lock smith. Not hard to do. IIRC, 4 phillips screws, and a clamp holding the greenish/blue hose to it..

Renew the gasket or put new silicone sealant on when installing. You don't want water leaking in at these seals!

(the dreaded seam rust!)

Call around and see if any lock smiths have keys for this lock. The guy I used had several, but of course none fit.

It wasn't much money to have him do the job.
