Stand your ground and don't let 'em. You could go after his insurance company to force them to pay out for damage. That's what I do here if some idiot hits my uninsured car (which has happened twice now).

Uninsured cars? Sure. Here insurance is not mandatory, which keeps rates down somewhat. As soon as it becomes law that insurance is mandatory, the companies put the screws on and jack prices up. I hate the thought of $1000.year insurance for ONE car. Insane.
