That may be our crew: we are traveling west from Brownsville to Tijuana, interviewing people that live along the border with the ultimate goal of trying to put a more human face on the immigration debate. If you go to our blog you will see our mobile base camp: an 87 Westfalia. We are currently in Ciudad Juarez (a little scary), which is to say we're roughly half way. The testament to our trip are the videos that we have uploaded to the site, which will be navigable by an interactive map when we finish designing it. What continues to amaze me is that we are a company of 3, crossing back and forward across the border, shooting, editing, uploading, cooking, sleeping and generally living happily in a single, incredibly well designed vehicle. (we upload from hotel parking lots with wifi and we edit with a power inverter that supplies the laptop with power from the car). When we reach TJ, I plan to post photos of some of the Westy's greatest moments, of which there have already been many. check out the site: www.borderstories.org note: Internet Explorer 6 does not load but 7, Firefox, Safari and Camino do. Let us know what you think!
