for those that travel between 60-75 mph, that's a huge drag factor variance. Mike's constant 63mph could easily get him over 20. I recently did a 270 mile round trip in our 142k Toyota corolla(99MY) and it got 36 mph with me by myself in the car and maybe 150# of car parts and tools along. the same trip with two humans and more parts netted 32+, with a slightly more leadfooted spouse driving some of the time. Wind wasn't a factor on either trip nor was ambient temps. FWIW, the car has no cruse so the driver had to maintain whatever speed was to be had.
