Hi folks: Trying to determine what is freezing up in my steering linkage as the temperatures drops. Here in Alaska we are having 50° daytime temperatures, but in the evenings we are still dropping below freezing. At the freezing temperatures, the steering feels like it is locked for the 1st few minutes of driving as I rotate the wheel. What would freeze up in the linkage?. It's definitely associated with the cold temperature, as it's fine above freezing. Van is an 89 Westy. Puzzled, and still waiting for spring... Troy |
