Hey all, One thing to consider when rousing your beastie from hibernation after a winter: You may want to disconnect your batterie(s) (if you neglected to disconnect it before putting the vehicle to sleep) when you put a charger on the system. Dunno if it really makes a difference with the Vanagon, but most of the Bosch electrical systems I've had experience with are susceptible to possible component damage when charging the battery. I know for certain that you can destroy a very expensive engine management computer in Porsches if you do not disconnect it during battery charging.. Maybe I am "gun-shy" now, but pulling a cable is easy and it can't really hurt much Don Hanson
