>> So where are these heaters installed then. are they installed under the back seat or is anyone putting them in the small compartment next to Fridge. Second, are they venting them through the floor or through the sie of the body? <<

Mine is from a group purchase back in the late 90's. We all pretty much stuck them under the rear bench seat and ran the gas line through the back of the cabinets' then trough the bench seat. Since then I have seen some clever installs where they were put in small cubby to the left of the fridge. I have also seen a custom box made for behind the passenger seat (Benny Boys'). Also, some have routed the gas line under the van instead of through the cabinets which looks cleaner. If I had to do it again I'd put it in the cubby next to the fridge. Putting it under the bench seat means I've lost that much storage. Now I have no space under the seat, I have a non-functioning AC unit taking up what would be a cool rear overhead cabinet and I just installed a GoWesty seatbelt on the drivers side rear seat which means the belt running through it renders half that cabinet useless. I still have that plastic tray running along the roofline though. Sigh...
