Subject: possible lighting upgrade for your westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I already have a similar product installed in my westy, over the sink/stove. I got it from http://autolumination.com/homefixtures.htm It is essentially the same thing, but with adjustable positioning of the lights on the track and wired directly into the van. You also need to put in a switch somewhere to turn it on/off but it is really a simple install - if I can do it anyone can (yes, I am admitting I am an idiot). The cost may be higher, however, especially if you get the LED bulbs they are selling. They do have regular bulbs available that are inexpensive, but I went with the LEDs to reduce drain on my second battery. I will work on taking some pics and getting them posted if enough people are interested. I really like the setup because it provides a lot more light than the standard dome light in my '81. I also like the fact that it is wired into my van because I hate buying/changing batteries all the time.
