We camped our way down the coast in July a few years ago. Two families, two vehicles, four adults and four kids. Our southernmost campsite was the Sinkyone Wilderness Area near Fort Bragg, but we had no trouble with campgrounds on the coast or on 101 down to that point. I haven't camped further than that since 1980 or so..........
