I'd have to agree with Paul about the SoCal/Disneyland experience. Best time to go, I've heard, is winter. Otherwise, the Oregon and NorCal coast is a beautiful drive, even though 101 and hwy 1 will be choked with RV's and clueless tourists. Campgrounds will be full, so make reservations. If not, just ask to do overflow camping. I've always been able to get into a full campground that way. That's the beauty of the Westy, you don't need anything but a place to park. Another thought, if you look for Forrest Service camps that are inland from 101, you can usually find available sites. Not many people use those camps because the action is on the coast. Have fun and I may see you on the road as I am headed up to Oregon mid July for 2 weeks. What's your van look like, so I will know it's you?
