Chris, The website I linked in my previous posts has both wide area flood-type LED lighting and "warm white" colors that aren't any more harsh than fluorescent. In fact, I think they're less harsh! I bought some warm white spots for my setup, and even though the light is somewhat directional, it still does a good job of lighting the vast majority of the living space. If you really like the fluorescent fixtures you pictured in your link, they are available from GoWesty for $54.95 or from the bus depot for $59.95. Both are the OEM fixtures.
