I'm about to put a Zetec in my van and I'll have a perfectly good European JD 2.1L engine with 187,000 kms (116,000-ish miles) on it. Note that the DJ engine is a higher compression engine and with 112-ish HP & more torque, AND runs on premium gas. I have been told that it can be de-tuned to run on regular gas (see bently, I've been told) The engine will be available in mid to late June in Boston. This is complete with ECU and all. Unless someone says differently, AFAIK it 's plug and play.

The Zetec conversion has NOTHING to do with the current engine, I just want a newer engine as I'm going overseas. Malcolm (Halifax NS)

Folks,

My 1.9L lump is tired, and I'd rather save the time and not rebuild the 2.1L I have in storage. So, does anyone have a well-running 2.1L WBX available? I'd buy the long-block. I'm in Atlanta, but could drive to pick up as I'd rather not pay shipping charges. I'd take another 1.9 as a second option.

Chris S.
