Speaking about pop top vans and the BC company that is making them, Here is another company that is similar..possibly the original...pop-top camper company. These guys have been at it for decades and are every bit as much a cult as Westphalia. I have one of their 10' models on an F-250 Ford Diesel 4x4 that I used very very hard on 6 winter long trips around Baja. Can't afford to do long trips with the cost of diesel, so now I have my 84 Vanagon for travel.. I know pick-em up trucks aren't the subject of the Vanagon list, but there are some good ideas in the Alaskan Campers and they are another company that has all the business they need via Word Of Mouth..
