As I was moping around the internet while Gerry was down, I ran across a few sites that reference the South African T3. A number of them say that (among other things) the SA T3 had slightly larger side windows and an improved ventilation system. I've seen the larger windows in the VWSA brocheres, but I can't find a single reference to exactly WHAT is improved in the ventilation system. The pics I find seem to indicate they did away with the vents just forward of the D pillar in order to make room for sliding windows back there. So where did they send the exiting cabin air? These are the kinds of stupid questions that keep me awake at night.... well, they're ehat I think about when I can't sleep, anyway... -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Geldsauger" '90 Vanagon GL - "Wiesel" |
