Thank you for the lead to that Bahnbrenner site for the billet fuel rail. I just ordered one to go onto the 92 Digifant II Cabriolet motor that powers my 84 5 speed. Only thing is, while on that site, I found all kinds of other cool performance items for my inline four VW motor..Especially intriguing is their twin screw supercharger kit, complete for ~$3k! Wow! I could, with that, have a 'subie-equivalent' van that I still could understand and work on without a degree in computer science and electrical engineering.. I will be looking into that kit, especially since I see the prefix for Bahnbrenner is 541---which puts it near me in the northwest somewhere.. On another note: Fire Extinguishers...You can easily mount one right below the front of the passengers seat. I've mounted one on a quick- release bracket there. Use a couple of sheet metal screws. I can easily reach it from the drivers seat or step through and get it from the camper area or open the passenger door and have it in hand in seconds. A very good idea. I would have it under my driver's seat but I have some switches for my aux battery in the way there and also, when fueling the van, you are on the passenger's side. Shortly after I came into possesion of my van, I almost had the 'burning Van" syndrome when an old fuel line let go underneath. I did have an extinguisher, but it was inside the slider and I had to stand in a puddle of gas to get to it.. Don Hanson
