Well, not that he's stupid, but...  Over the years I have become skeptical
of almost all claims of gas mileage. :)  In _every_ case where I've been
told the mileage, then had a chance to make an assessment myself, the result
has been less than what was claimed.

Just my experience...

You know my stepdad had a lumina LTZ and he'd report crazy mileage in excess
of 30 mpg.  I always figured he was too dumb to figure it out correctly
