If it was knobs, i bet it was servo controlled. One could probably adapt the parts from another vehicle to the Vanagon. Oh boy! Another project I'll never have time for!

Does anyone have a link to that web page what has pictures of a blue VWSA T3? The one with the raised rear deck covering an I5 engine, and I remember I said something about the exhaust going FORWARD under the left axle, adding another level of horror to CV joint service? I know I seen it linked here, but I can't find it now...
