Pull the electrical connector from the sensor and unscrew it. Check the sensor and the threads carefully and, of they look good, it wouldn't be a bad idea to clean the probes while it's out. Put some Vaseline on the threads and the O-Ring and screw it back in. That just may cure your problem.

If the sensor is leaking or the threads are not good a new sensor is in order. That's assuming the threads in the tank look, of course.
