Subject: Brakes not letting go all the way in the rear? Clunk after
              stopping...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I have a somewhat disconcerting noise and "feeling" after coming to a complete stop... It feels as if my rear brakes are releasing a second or 2 AFTER I let off the brake pedal...it makes a bit of a thunk noise and feels like something is releasing...maybe even in a suspension component...

I saw someone in the archives had a similar "symptom" but I didn't see any response...

Any clues what I should look at first?

I know for a fact that my parking brake needs help...it barely holds on and it seems the driver side cable is all mucked up...looks rusted and torn...I am going to be ordering 2 of those (one for each side) and checking the brakes themselves this weekend...

Any advice is appreciated!!
