Only the run from the ECU to the spade connector for the O2 sensor is shielded. The run from the O2 sensor to the spade connector is not shielded.

The shielded wire must only be grounded at ONE end (at the ECU end). If it's grounded at both ends it won't work as a shield and will cause problems.
