dear all van a goners
i always appreciate in depth analysis from people who have the knowledge ...
when they are dead and gone it will be all we have left of them ...
the nuggets of knowledge shared ...
scotts extensive understanding of the internal combustion engine and all of
the parts we have hung around it for our comfort
is but one of the gold mines in my life that i wish i could spend more time
with on a long term basis
i have a friend here who runs vehicles from the 1950's as daily drivers
he has too hoists and great understanding of nearly all things mechanical
...
another pal who has tools in piles runs older vehicles and often seeks the
zen of the moment of repair
and both of them laugh at my volkswagen fetish but both are keen to share
their considerable auto and marine knowledge with me
and wouldnt it be a smaller darker existence with out ben form quebec and
his detailed photographic essays of nearly every screw he has removed and
every bolt tightened
i wish computer people /geeks could be equally as Fußgänger in their
"detailed help" as scott and ben are
i only know of one of those guys a with a on the street understanding of
computers and i rarely take a byte with out consulting him
yours

There are two kinds of jobs in the world:
Picking up garbage and telling people things.
Successful people do both, with the same good attitude. (riw)
