Driving around town in my westy the other day, I had not latched the rear table to its magnetic catch very well and swung around a corner when I heard the thunk when it contacted the stove. I could see the crossarms down up ahead and thought to myself "it's only two blocks to the crossing, and I'll have plenty of time while I wait for the train." Then I smelled gas. I pulled over before I even got to the train and went to the back. The table had been at a perfect height and distance to swing under the rear stove knob and turn it on enough to leak gas into the cabin. Remember to shut these things off at the tank when they're not in use. Jim |
