Remember that if you are doing periodic maint. like bleeding the system then remember not to push the pedal all the way to the floor.Go about 2/3 of the way. If you go too far then you may press the piston into a rusted area of the cylinder and score the seals (rebuild or replace MC). This is basic knowledge but easily forgotten when instructing a newbie volunteer brake pedal depressor. I do regular bleeding and my 90 still has 250k on the original wheel cylinders and master cylinder. David Clarkson 90 Westy (250k)
