Hello all. I just finished installing some Bilstein HD shocks all the way around and have a quick question regrading the fronts. On the front shocks there was a metal "washer" that was around 3/8" thick that fit on the shaft. When installing the shocks, this piece wouldn't fit up into the shock protector that was in there, so I left it out. Was there a reason for the part and did I do it improperly? You can see one of them sitting right below the nut if you visit http://www.eshocks.com/images/Bilstein/B46-0820-H0.JPG Thanks! Aaron |
