It's still friday, so here I go. A few days ago in Calgary a guy drove off the road and up onto the sidewalk killing a woman and seriously injuring a child. The guy drove off and parked at his house a few blocks away. It has been established he was drunk, and driving without insurance or registration. Which suggests a prior DUI. This probably happens all the time, but when you look at this case his actions have destroyed two families. He is 38 years old, three young children and a house in the suburbs. If convicted, he will do time. At the moment it's about 4 years. The publics tolerance for this type of behavior is wearing thin.
