Subject: Axle Bearing Kits
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hey Volks,

The rear axle bearings on my '86 went bad and so I was looking for replacement.

I'm looking at the usual vendors online and had a question. According to Bus Depot, a rear axle bearing and seal kit fits all buses from '71-'91. On the other hand CIP says the kits are different for Bays then Vanagons - and they don't have a listing for Vanagon.

So, if anyone could tell me who is right that would be greatly appreciated. I'd hate to order the kit from Bus Depot and find that it is only for Bays.

Thanks, Andrew
