Shame isn't it - junk yards. Unless dedicated to a type of car, like "All VW and Audi' say - they just don't care.

It's rape mentality - sell what sells quickly and easily off it, then scrap it. Makes me sick. The only way to save it, when people like that have it, is buy it.

Looks great too, and what a gold mine of later type parts for earlier vanagons too, the PS , radiator, later brakes, coolant pipes - a hundred-plus things. Scott

FYI, this is a '88 wolfsburg edition.. aka a Carat..

it has the jumpseats, side table, power mirrors, full fiberglass bodykit, alloys, sofabed, possibly power windows and power locks and cruise....

its worth a hell of alot more than $500..

someone should get this.. too far for me to drive unfortunately..
