Talked to a guy doing a pick up in my town--he specializes in inoperable vehicles. Quite a collection he was towing. LILLI AUTO TRANSPORT, INC 605-334-9500

I met them, talked to their office. They are legit. They also haul drivable vehicles. They do USA only; east to Rockies. Beyond that they use a broker.

It was a 3 month long hassle to get an 85 Adventurewagen finally shipped from Virginia to Oregon about 10 months ago. Finally I just had to raise my bid - twice - until someone finally picked up the Haul. Their 'quote' is not a quote actually, it's the bid they put out for haulers to pick up the job if they are interested.

When a driver finally called me to say he was taking it, he said if it doesn't start and move off the truck, It's 300 dollars extra, no exceptions.

It did finally arrive all OK.

They are usually just brokers and not the hauling company itself. And .........." $ 150 'deposit' was actually their broker fee, but they don't tell you that and instead let you think it's a deposit on the final amount, which it is not - it's their brokerage fee.

Good luck ! May your experience be much, much better than mine was. Scott Turbovans

I am planning to have a Westy shipped from Colorado to Maine and wonder if any of you have had any experience with Express Auto Transport or have any info on them? Suggestions on other reliable transportation companies would be appreciated.
