Don't overlook one of the major design elements of the stock system. Fuel flows through the cigar tubes constantly when the pump is running, returning to the tank via the pressure regulator return line. That means cool fresh gas is always at the injectors and most air or vapor gets pushed away from the injector inlets harmlessly back to the tank. That is what fuel rails are intended to do. If you create long dead end hoses to the injectors you are opening yourself up to potential problems. When you shut off a hot engine the fuel lines soak up heat from the head and elsewhere. With the rails working as designed this hot fuel and most any resulting vapor gets immediately pushed back to the tank upon starting. Better hot starts, etc.
